چکیده
Purpose The aim of this study was to determine the predict factors of the therapeutic response in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and remodeling in patients with non-ischemic cardiomyopathy who were receiving treatment with b blockers. We hypothesized LGE by CMR imaging predicted therapeutic response in LVEF and remodeling in patients with non-ischemic cardiomyopathy who were receiving treatment with b blockers.

Relationship between Late Gadolinium Enhancement Extent in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Old Myocardial Infarction
Purpose: To assess the relationship between the severity of coronary arteries involvement and the extent and pattern of myocardial scars in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance of patients with history of remote myocardial infarction. Materials and Methods: The Cardiac Magnetic Resonance images of sixty patients with history of remote ST segment or non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction were ...
متن کامل4D strain analysis within non-infarcted myocardium of patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy: potential marker for the prediction of adverse cardiac events
Background Adverse left ventricular remodeling following myocardial infarction (MI) remains one of the strongest prognostic indicators of adverse cardiac events. Increased wall stress and biomechanical strain within non-infarcted myocardium contribute to myocyte hypertrophy, fibrosis, and late adverse remodeling. This study aimed to demonstrate the feasibility of performing 4D strain analysis w...
متن کاملMyocardial fibrosis delineation in late gadolinium enhancement images of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy patients using deep learning methods
Introduction: Accurate delineation of myocardial fibrosis in Late Gadolinium Enhancement on Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (LGE-CMR) has a crucial role in the assessment and risk stratification of HCM patients. As this is time-consuming and requires expertise, automation can be essential in accelerating this process. This study aims to use Unet-based deep learning methods to automate the mentioned ...
متن کاملRecovery of methamphetamine associated cardiomyopathy predicted by late gadolinium enhanced cardiovascular magnetic resonance
Methamphetamine is known to cause a cardiomyopathy which may be reversible with appropriate medical therapy and cessation of use. Late gadolinium enhancement cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) has been shown to identify fibrosis in ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathies. We present a case of severe methamphetamine-associated cardiomyopathy in which cardiac function recovered after 6 mo...
متن کاملPrediction of arrhythmic events in ischemic and dilated cardiomyopathy patients referred for implantable cardiac defibrillator: evaluation of multiple scar quantification measures for late gadolinium enhancement magnetic resonance imaging.
BACKGROUND Scar signal quantification using late gadolinium enhancement cardiac magnetic resonance (LGE-CMR) identifies patients at higher risk of future events, both in ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) and nonischemic dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). However, the ability of scar signal burden to predict events in such patient groups at the time of referral for implantable cardioverter-defibrillator ...
